This week's microfiction is a 50-word story about procrastinating at work.
Paint It Black
Aamon scowled. “You’ve been assigned this project for centuries. It’s due at the end of the decade. And this is it?”
Belphegor cringed. “I may have procrastinated…”
The demons stared at the pure-white soul Belphegor had meant to torture.
Aamon sighed. “Just…paint it black. Maybe the boss won’t notice.”
