This week's microfiction is a 70-word story about what it takes to make a marriage work.
Marriage
Who’s to say who's at fault? The fight was so long ago.
What matters now is the garbage pile stinking up our kitchen, growing daily. Banana peels and food scraps and plastic bags and used paper towels, all glued together with age and rot.
Well, I’m not taking it out! I did it last time. But he says he did it last time.
I’m sure he’ll break any day now…
