This week's microfiction is a 100-word story about love...or obsession.

Forever After All

He hadn’t said he loved me. No matter; my love was formidable enough to sustain us.

But when he announced his promotion and admitted it meant moving out of state, he didn’t ask me along. The week of his departure arrived, and still nothing.

I showed up at his apartment; we embraced and kissed goodbye. I squeezed tighter and tighter, crushing bones. Unhinged my loving jaw and swallowed my man whole, sliding him down the wetness of my gullet in one orgasmic gulp. I can feel him inside me, even now. Feels like destiny.

We’ll be together forever after all.

Writing without a paywall is important to me, but writing is work. If you enjoyed this post or found it helpful, I would be honored if you would consider donating.
