This week's microfiction is a 60-word story about cleaning up messes.
Bubbles
Sitting at our dining room table, waiting for my wife to come home, I remember blowing bubbles into chocolate milk as a child.
Sometimes, I’d blow too hard; the bubbles would make a mess. Mom would wipe off the table, chiding me.
Now I look at this handful of hotel receipts, thinking, Cleaning up messes was so much easier then.
