Close the Door, by Cassandra O'Sullivan Sachar, is a horror novella about Natalie, a single mom, who accidentally opens a door in her mind and lets out something...supernatural. Something that takes over Natalie's body and mind for hours at a time.

That's a great, creepy premise, and you can't help but imagine, "What if it were me?"

I really enjoyed this story and could not put it down. It has short chapters, which I love because it's so easy to tell yourself, "Just one more chapter...just one more...juuuuuust one mooooore..." while you keep reading until the book is complete. This was one of those.

No spoilers, but I adored the ending.

The main character, Natalie, was a little bland, but her love for her son gives her some personality and makes you root for her.

All in all, an entertaining read!
