2025 Reflections

As we reach the end of 2025, I wanted to take a moment and reflect on what I accomplished this year.

I encourage you to take a minute and do the same, because we often get so wrapped up in our problems and daily lives that we forget to focus on the good.

This year, I

• Finished 14 short stories and 62 microfictions

• Submitted 48 stories

• Received 11 acceptances

• Received 32 denials (denials are important, too!)

Other highlights from 2025:

• I published my debut novella, Sorority Zombies in Space!

  
  

• I began posting my Monday Microfictions. This one about G'roth the Mighty is a personal favorite, but "Chosen" was a fan favorite.

• I practiced drawing for several months (but got distracted when Hades II early access was released).

• I joined Deadlines for Writers and joined the 12 Stories in 12 Months challenge.

• I shared some of my poetry.
